Employment scams is one of the recent trends of scamming exist in the internet. The scammers target the jobseekers to trap them into their snare, purportedly contacting them from renowned multinational companies. The scammers usually use the address which is very far away from the mail receivers to save their face from the risk of being investigated.
If the users have posted their resume on the online job seeking websites such as monster.com, naukri.com, timesjob.com, they presumably receive this kind of fake job offers. The offers will look like the legitimate job offers from the company, but without proper address or contact numbers to clarify the suspicion. The aim of the emails is to trap the users to get money out of them or to steal their personal details.

The scammers just using the Maruti Suzuki India to lure the jobseekers, apart from this there is no connection between the company and this fake call letter.

- Jobs normally advertised in free websites, as the scammers will not spend money on it.
- Emails which are being sent are from free mail accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail etc.
- Their contact communication mostly will be of poor language and method of approach will be unprofessional.
- The scams messages will be sent mostly from other countries such as Ghana, Malaysia etc. they will claim that they have branches in USA, Canada, and United Kingdom.
- They will purportedly say that they will send flight ticket and take care of accommodation and foods. But they will ask you to provide deposit money for that.
- They will provide bank name and account details to deposit money before getting the job offers. Please don’t prefer to send money on Money on MoneyGram or Western Union.
